Craft: Using th "antique olive" test I changed the words "bop-it, twist-it, and pull it" to "squeeze it, finger it, and stroke it." To make the text stand out I turned the text white and used the drop shadow option to darken the background. I kept the drop shadow "spread" fairly high to really make the text pop. I adjusted the angle of the words to fit on the toy parts using "transform." Lastly, I again used the clone stamp tool to copy the packaging background.
Composition:After a critique, I looked into how to make my packaging stand out more. I placed the actions on the parts of the bop-it to clearly to express the perverse meanings behind each action. Thus, simplifying the message. I changed the title of the box and added little details so the packaging is consistent throughout.
Concept: The concept is that mentioned on the worth1000.com misfit toy contest. I have created a toy no one would rightfully buy their child. The irony is the kids are becoming more sexually active at a younger age, so this toy game fits in with the reality of younger kids being sexually active.
