Craft: Using the polygon lasso tool I mapped out my hands to create a background. Using "transform," I manipulated the hands and repeatedly copied and pasted the hands. Using the "drop shadow" effects and the character window, I maniupluated the text throughout the image. Some of the text I changed the opacity to make it pop less so there would be a focus on the more important sales text on the ad. I used brighten/contrast to balance the photo
Composition: To change the focus of the ad so it would be more appealing to the reader, I messed with the opacity of text to draw attention to more important text information than others. I used bright colors to make it POP. The hands in the ads give the reader this feel that this is a hands-on toy. The game is centered so its noticeable to the reader. Two hand pictures were particularly placed to better reitterate how the you play the game. The ad overall has a lot of detailed information and is a visual advertisement more than text-based advertisment
Concept: This ad only exemplifies the concept from the previous post. This is not only a misfit toy, but a misfit ad for the toy. There is a greater amount of shock in the ad by adding the hands. This a a toy that should not be sold to kids.
